What is Dermaplane Facial and what will you receive during your treatment?

Dermaplane treats the epidermis (top layer of the skin) it removes up to 6 weeks worth of dead skin, fake tan and make up build up. It also removes vallus hair (peach fuzz) from the skin, the hair will not grow back thicker as we are not shaving the face. Dermaplaning is a non invasive effective procedure it is a manual way of preforming a deep exfoliation.

The average adult has up to 40 layers of dead skin that has built up on the skin due to the slow down in the rate we shed our dead cells, this makes the skin look dull, makes make up go on uneven, it also contributes to uneven skin tone, hyper pigmention as well as fine lines, wrinkles.

Dermaplane promotes health skin and helps stimulate the production and shedding of skin cells. So what do you get during your treatment?

First you will receive an in depth consultation so that i can understand what skin problems you have, what products you use on your skin and whether they are the right ones or you as well as finding out what you want to achieve from this treatment.

We will then go into the treatment room and you will be provided with a head band and hair net to put on this is to keep your hair off your face.

I will then double cleanse your skin to clean it and also make sure no make up and dirt is left on the face, I will then use diluted surgical spirit to make sure no excess oil is left on the face.

You will then receive your Dermaplane treatment that will use a brand new surgical blade to manually remove your dead skin cells, make up build up, and fake tan as well as your peach fuzz.

After i have done your dermaplane you will have a toner applied to your skin to rebalnce your PH in your skin as well as shrink your pores.

I will then apply SPF 30 and moisturiser to protect your new skin from the UV rays and stops any ageing of the skin happening as well as locking in moisture to keep the skin healthy.
